Motilal Oswal is four decades old. The trust it carries was built over years of proven performance, through market cycles, through generations of investors who chose to stay. But the market around it was changing: faster, younger, more digital. The brand team came up with the idea of the logo, and finalised it. The mammoth task that was left was to establish rules for this new identity and announce it to everyone.

The clarity was that both were looking for the same thing. Turning this insight into a visual identity, we created the logo. A curved form in the identity system suggests movement without breaking from the past. Oxford blue carries legacy. Yellow carries forward motion. Together: growth you can trust.

Alongside building a brand guidelines book, a campaign was built to announce that this was the same trustworthy brand, only opening up. The verbal identity kept returning to one idea: this brand isn't just growing, it’s expanding its horizons. For existing clients it says: we're expanding with you. For new ones: you belong here too.

A rebrand isn't seen once. It is experienced across every platform, format and team, from a billboard to an app to a pitch deck. The work covered every aspect of the rebrand end to end, including redesigning and repositioning the logos of group businesses to align with the new master brand identity, with the flexibility to adapt across all of them.
