Investing in a single market cap is a bet on one lane of a multi-lane race. The Motilal Oswal Flexi Cap Fund was built on a different idea: the freedom to move across large, mid, and small caps as market conditions shift. The film was the centrepiece of a campaign built to make that idea of asset allocation being completely set on autopilot.
Hurdles with names.
The film followed a single athlete navigating a track where every hurdle carried the name of a market cap. Large cap. Mid cap. Small cap. One after another, cleared with the ease of someone who has trained for all of it. No hesitation at any particular hurdle. No preference for the easier ones. The metaphor did the work that a fund factsheet never could: it showed flexibility as a physical, felt quality rather than a financial feature. Production, shoot, and edit were handled end to end.
Featuring across the media.
The film did not stay on screen. Print communication was developed and taken live across Mumbai, from Andheri down to South Bombay, on hoardings and digital hoardings that carried the campaign's energy into the city's daily rhythm. Metro adapts brought the idea into commuter spaces. Digital banners extended the reach further, ensuring the campaign held together whether a viewer saw it on a highway or a phone screen.
